Hot Chilli Chocolate
When only something hot and chocolatey will do, this is my recipe of choice.
Not only does this Hot Chilli Chocolate taste decadent and delicious, it also provides heaps of nutritional benefits and has practically no sugar.
Ingredients
Serves 1
1 tbsp of our Chocolate Complete powder or raw cacao powder, plus extra to sprinkle
½ tsp ground cinnamon
pinch ground chilli (optional)
½ cup milk of choice (e.g. dairy, almond, coconut)
Method
Place the Chocolate Complete powder or raw cacao powder in a mug along with the cinnamon and a few tiny sprinkles of chilli, if using.
Next, place the milk in a small saucepan and heat on low while you boil some water in the kettle. Add ½ cup of boiled water to the mug, stirring as you go to first create a paste and dissolve the powder. Stir well before adding the heated milk. Make sure all the chocolate is dissolved and then sprinkle some extra raw cacao on top to serve.
Tips
Feel free to use a combo of our Chocolate Complete and raw cacao powder in this recipe and also to up the amount, if you’d like it more chocolatey.
